The Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) changed its name in 2002. For decades, CDIA was known as Associated Credit Bureaus (ACB). ACB celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1981 and published this book to mark the occasion.

In July 1968, Associated Credit Bureaus of America announced a name change to Associated Credit Bureaus. The announcement included an update of the association’s branding. ACBofA and ACB are the forerunners to CDIA.
